Donssøerne - The Dons Lakes

The total total lake area at Dons covers 100 hectares. To this comes 50 hectares bog. The area is partly privately owned. The lakes are one of the region's important wetlands and a popular spot for anglers. The lakes may also well be the object of a bicycle trip along the Troldhede track, and from Dybvadbro you can cycle along small cosy roads at the Dons Lakes.

How to Find the Dons Lakes  The Dons Lakes are located 9 km northwest of Kolding. Follow Dons Landevej towards Dons, 100 metres before the exit to Dons, you turn left down Søvej. The best parking is at the Soldaterbroen, which is also on Søvej. The Soldaterbroen crosses the Alminde River and divides the lakes into Dons North Lake and Dons South Lake. If you are going fishing in Dons South Lake, you can park at Piledamsbroen
