Take a Walk in the Svanemosen (the Swan Bog)
At the Svanemosen you can park at Svanemosevej and at the bottom of Sangfuglevej. The 5 km long trails in the Svanemosen starts out at the parking lot on Sangfuglevej. The trails is not suited for walking-impaired and people in wheelchairs. It can be dangerous to leave paths and roads in the bog, so please stay on the firm paths.


From the parking lot follow the trail into the bog. Shortly after the road turns left and runs along the edge of the bog. Further ahead the road takes a sharp turn to the left, and now you are walking across the raised bog. Follow the road straight ahead through the open area until there is a some wood on your left, and then there is also wood on the right side of the road.

Follow the trail through the forest until you can see a large lake on your left. From the wide road, you can move onto a small path, which runs along the border of the lake. Turn right around the lake until you come to a nice place at the edge of the lake, where you can enjoy the view of the lake from a bench under a large pine tree.

You can now leave the lake by the path behind the bench and go to a crossing where you continue straight ahead.

From the road you now move out into the open landscape of the raised bog. Follow the road straight ahead, until you reach the edge of the forest, where there is a road to the right. This road takes you through the raised bog and a bit of moss on the left after approx. 20 metres. If all goes well, you have now reached the road, where you walked at the beginng. This road takes you back to the parking lot.
