Nicolai for children is an architectural pearl; it is designed to capture and invigorate your senses in a number of ways and challenge your motor skills. With rooms like The Jungle, The Grotto and The Cloud a thrilling day of fun and creativity is guaranteed.

The Jungle is a huge room for play and gambolling with ropes from floor to ceiling and funky playthings.

The Grotto is a theatre room. Pick a costume – be a daring knight, a pretty princess, a beetle bug or a police officer - and create your own dramatic play. The Grotto has quirky steps which makes it a fun place to play.

The Cloud is made of glass. Are you brave enough to try it? In The Cloud you can keep an eye on the people below or lie back and dream away…
Furthermore you can stop by our different workshop rooms. We have a creative workshop, a textile/sewing workshop and a computer room.
If you’ve brought your own lunch you’re free to enjoy it in the Grotto or outside in the Nicolai Court. You can also visit Nicolai Café and try their delicious sandwiches and salads. Half price for children.
Opening hours:
Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm.
During the summer holiday (end of June to middle of August) the house is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm.
