Bjert Bryg
The Ølentusiasten (The Beer Enthusiast) No. 33 from August 2006 states: Torsten "Brewer" Reffstrup in Agtrup at Sdr. Bjert on the outskirts of Kolding has started a cooperation with Sdr. Bjert Kro. The inn, which is a cosy old inn from 1855, was last year chosen as the best place to eat in Kolding.

Sdr. Bjert Kro is known for its kitchen, which masters the good Danish food. They prepare the good foom completely from the bottom, everything is homemade. - Now their beer is also home- and handmade.

Torsten "Brewer", who is known as the "cook" of the brewery world, his own characteristic, till now has only brewed to order, and has primarily used hops gathered in the Kolding region.

The inn's host and hostess, Icelandic Tobba and Odin, had had quite a few demands for good handmade beers at the inn, so it was natural to contact the local beer "cook" Torsten Reffstrup, to ask him if they could sell some of his beer. It was not possible legally, so therefore Torsten suggested to the inn to make a brewery and now he is employed as a brewer at the inn.

The old office of the inn and part of the kitchen has been rebuilt to a small brewery. Allready they have started four brews: A pilsener, a special lager, a blackberry beer and a stout.

Until further notice, the beer will be bottled and only sold at the inn.
