Givskud Zoo (40 km/25 miles)
Go to the Zoo and have a wild day! Givskud Zoo is a completely strange world in the middle of Jutland where visitors can get in close contact with wild animals from five continents. Go through the safari section in your own car or in the safari bus and see animals from Africa, North America and South America. If you have small children, the safari train will be a hit - the train goes into the petting zoo, where children may help the driver feed the animals.

Do not miss the view from the top of the tower of the only five-naved cathedral in Denmark dating back to 1150. Today, the native town of Hans Christian andersen is the third largest city in Denmark and is home to many entertaining activities and sites for the whole family.
